The Role

Senior iOS Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced iOS engineer to lead and contribute to the construction of our core products. You’ll be working in lockstep with our Engineering and Product teams to oversee the development of our mobile app, core payments infrastructure, and other web based applications to manage marketplace and rewards products. We’re building our MVP with top-tier financial services partners and suppliers. We’ve invested months into due diligence, surveying the market (talking to real people!), and targeting the right initial market to ultimately bring this product to life. This is an extremely hands-on and truly growth centric role. If you have a passion for building tech from 0-1 while putting the customer first, then this is the role for you!

How you’ll make an impact

• Lead and oversee to the development of our MVP app
• Oversee and lead mobile app (iOS) development operations for the engineering team
• Collaborate closely with our development firm to ensure smooth and timely delivery
• Own the development and deployment of our core products using modern industry-standard tools, languages, and frameworks
• Drive technical delivery - everything from QA to app coding
• Help define the technical architecture and develop the scalable solutions end-to-end
• Participate in customer discovery efforts and initiatives as our Beta users help us refine our product

Requirements

• 5+ years of iOS native software development experience
• 2+ years as a team lead or engineering management experience is a plus
• Strong iOS development skills related to Swift, UIKit, A/B Testing, Networking
• 5+ years in a cloud-based ecosystem such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
• Experience solving complex technical challenges individually and through collaboration
• Experience with agile methodologies, testing frameworks, CI/CD tools, and the like
• Demonstrated experience being a member of an early stage engineering team
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Prior experience in the payments, banking, credit or marketplace spaces is a plus
• Must love dogs
