As an Account Manager, you will be the main point of contact for a portfolio of B2B customers. Your focus will be on maintaining strong relationships with key client stakeholders (“Champions”), ensuring day-to-day operational excellence, and identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.
You will work closely with multiple internal teams (Sales, Operations, Logistics, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Support) to ensure customer needs are clearly understood and effectively addressed.
Your Responsibilities Customer Relationship Management - Act as the primary contact for B2B customers, handling day-to-day communication via email, calls, and in-person meetings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer champions through regular feedback sessions and on-site visits
- Support contract adjustments and account configuration in the admin panel
Account Operations & Internal Coordination - Orchestrate customer requests and feedback internally across departments (Operations, Logistics, Finance, Tech, Customer Support)
- Ensure internal teams have all relevant information needed to serve customers effectively
- Manage premium account support for selected key customers
- Coordinate invoice-related topics: clarifications, adjustments, and communication between customers and the invoicing team
Growth & Upselling - Identify upsell opportunities within existing accounts (e.g. additional delivery days, increased allowance, new locations)
- Drive upsell initiatives in collaboration with Sales and City Managers
- Encourage and track customer referrals
Cross-functional Alignment - Weekly alignment with Berlin & Munich City Managers on contracts, sales numbers, and operational insights
- Regular in-person visits to kitchens to stay close to daily operations
- Daily coordination with Logistics Managers on delivery feedback and slot adjustments
- Weekly alignment with Customer Support (B2C) on end-user communication and service feedback
Commercial & Marketing Support - Support and close upsell deals, including demos, negotiations, contract setup, and onboarding
- Own selected marketing initiatives for existing customers (e.g. B2C reactivation campaigns) and monitor performance
