• Role: Systems Developer
• Reporting to: Engineering Manager

Location: Remote (South East Asia)

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Systems Developer, you will:

1. Play a pivotal role in our core business by designing, building, and maintaining secure and scalable APIs, transforming our clients' internal systems into accessible and powerful tools.
2. Contribute to Open Banking and Banking as a Service projects, shaping the future of fintech in Southeast Asia.
3. Work in a dynamic, fast-paced development environment, emphasizing high-quality, secure, and production-grade code.
4. Collaborate closely with our CTO and a team of Senior Developers, making a substantial and direct impact on the future technology of our rapidly expanding tech platform.

What We Look for in You

We're searching for a candidate with:

1. At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, preferably in a role with similar responsibilities.
2. Demonstrated expertise in planning, designing, and structuring robust and scalable APIs.
3. Experience with test-driven development, databases (especially PostgreSQL), and web services.
4. Proficiency in backend development and the Go language.
5. Experience with gRPC and REST.
6. A proven track record of building secure, efficient, and resilient systems.
7. Familiarity with cloud technologies and related APIs (AWS, GCP, etc).
8. Experience in the banking, ecommerce, or fintech sectors.
9. Practical experience with Kubernetes, Microservices, and building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
10. Is an excellent communicator in English and exhibits a self-driven, proactive approach to work.
11. Is an autonomous self-starter, able to make sound decisions and take ownership of tasks and projects.
12. Excels in a client-facing role, effectively translating client requirements into technological solutions and delivering results in a project-based environment.
