About the Role
Neowise operates in a performance-driven collections environment. We are hiring an HR Manager / Lead to drive leadership hiring and manage large-scale telecalling workforce operations. This role partners directly with the CEO and Business Head to build a disciplined, high-performance culture across corporate, tech, and high-volume collections teams. Prior experience in BPO/collections hiring at scale and operating in high-attrition, incentive-driven environments is essential.
What Is Expected From You
- High-Volume Hiring & BPO Workforce Management
- Own end-to-end bulk hiring for collections and telecalling teams at scale.
- Design and execute structured mass hiring strategies including walk-ins, recruiter funnels, vendor partnerships, and job portal sourcing.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines to ensure continuous floor readiness.
- Drive hiring metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and joining ratios.
- Lead workforce planning aligned with collection targets, call volumes, and productivity benchmarks.
- Ensure optimal alignment between telecaller productivity and headcount deployment.
- You Should Deeply Understand
- Month-on-month telecaller attrition trends and mitigation strategies.
- How incentive structures impact performance and retention.
How to hire for resilience, ownership, and performance—not just resumes.
Performance Management in a Collections Environment
Build KPI-driven appraisal systems for collections executives.
Partner with operations leaders to define and track floor-level metrics.
Design and manage PIP frameworks for underperformers.
Standardize disciplinary and performance accountability processes.
Ensure consistent enforcement of performance standards.
3.Leadership & Functional Hiring
- Oversee hiring for tech, analytics, finance, and leadership roles.
- Implement structured interview frameworks and scoring rubrics.
- Improve hiring quality across mid-level and managerial roles.
- Compensation & Incentive Structuring
- Design variable-heavy compensation structures for collections teams.
- Ensure incentive models align directly with recovery performance.
- Standardize compensation banding across roles.
Maintain strong internal pay equity discipline.
Payroll & HR Operations
Oversee payroll accuracy in coordination with Finance.
Ensure telecaller incentives are computed accurately and disbursed on time.
Maintain employee records and HRMS discipline.
Manage full and final settlements without leakage or delays.
Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishment, and other statutory requirements.
Maintain audit-ready documentation at all times.
Coordinate with external consultants where required.
Ensure zero non-compliance exposure.
Culture & Floor Discipline
Establish a performance-first culture across collections floors.
Reduce regretted attrition among top-performing collectors.
Improve managerial capability across team leads.
Institutionalize structured onboarding processes for telecallers.
Ensure behavioral compliance and regulatory conduct standards are followed.
What We Are Looking For
- 5-10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in performance-driven or high-growth environments.
- Proven BPO/collections hiring exposure at scale.
- Experience managing a 100+ employee workforce, including telecalling or floor-based teams.
- Strong command over HR data, metrics, and workforce planning.
- Comfortable operating in high-attrition, target-driven, incentive-heavy setups.
- Confident handling tough conversations and performance-based exits.
- Founder-facing maturity with high ownership and discretion.
