Job Summary
Neowise is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and technically sound Software Development Engineer (SDE) Fresher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to building, maintaining, and scaling our fintech SaaS platform.
As a foundational engineer, you will own features end-to-end; comprehensive software testing (both automated and manual) will be an integral part of your daily responsibilities to ensure the highest standards of code quality, reliability, and performance before features go live. This is a fantastic opportunity for a fresher to gain deep, full-stack development experience while mastering robust testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and development teams to understand business requirements and translate them into clean, scalable code.
• Design, develop, and maintain features across both frontend and backend systems.
• Take ownership of software quality: Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for your features.
• Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing across our web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and debug software defects, working closely with senior team members to resolve issues efficiently.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development workflows and testing methodologies.
• Assist in ensuring the quality, functionality, and compliance of our AI bots and AI analytics features.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Fresher (Open to recent graduates in Computer Science, IT, or related technical fields).
• Strong programming fundamentals with proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python.
• Academic or project experience working with backend and frontend frameworks such as Express, React, and React Native.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and core software engineering principles.
• Familiarity with software testing concepts and a strong willingness to write unit/integration tests as part of the development lifecycle.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Java.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Selenium, or PyTest).
• Basic understanding of performance and security best practices.
• Prior exposure to the fintech domain, SaaS solutions, or open-source contributions.
