We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced manual tester to join our fast-paced fintech company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SDLC and STLC concepts.

*What is expected from you: *

1. Minimum experience required 3-4 years and good to have basic programming knowledge.

2. Develop, implement and maintain manual testing procedures and processes.

3. Design, execute and document functional, regression, integration and system tests and participate in Go or No Go decisions.

4. Experience with API Testing, preferably REST APIs.

5. Identify and report software defects and inconsistencies.

6. Collaborate with development, design, product teams and other stakeholders to resolve testing issues.

7. Ensure effective communication of project and testing status to Execute regular quality assurance tasks as required.

8. Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts.

9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies related to software testing.

10. Experience on Requirements gathering, Test Plan, Test Scenario and Test cases Design.

What we are looking for -

1. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, system and API testing.

2. Experience in creating and executing test cases, test plans and test scripts.

3. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to clearly articulate testing results and issues.

4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

5. Knowledge of SQL, Jira and other relevant tools is a plus.

6. Good to have some previous work experience in the Payments/ Fintech/ Banking domain.

7. Full ownership of the QA lifecycle for a product and experience on both functional testing and system testing.

8. Previously dealt with mission-critical production issues in terms of data volumes and speed of data.
