As an Electrical Engineer, you will contribute to the design, integration, and commissioning of electrical systems for advanced robotic platforms, working closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and integrate electrical systems for robotic and industrial automation solutions
  • Develop and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and documentation using tools such as Zuken E3.series, EPLAN, or similar
  • Implement and support PLC programming (e.g. TwinCAT), including basic safety-related logic under guidance
  • Understanding functional safety requirements from relevant robotics and industrial safety standards and designing safety circuits
  • Support motor controller and drive parametrization and tuning
  • Conducting testing, validation and troubleshooting of integrated systems
  • Assist in implementing functional safety concepts and safety circuits in accordance with applicable standards
  • Participate in system testing, validation, troubleshooting, and commissioning
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, test reports, and commissioning instructions
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, robotics, and safety engineers

Your area of expertise:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in industrial automation, robotics, or machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
  • Basic to intermediate experience with PLC programming
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols
  • Understanding of electrical power systems and industrial components
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for commissioning

Bonus points:

  • Exposure to functional safety systems or safety PLCs
  • Experience with industrial robots or autonomous systems
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)
  • Previous experience working as an electrical engineer with industrial machinery, either in the field or as an in-house engineer
