Position Overview:
This is a multi-disciplined role; the successful candidate should be able to perform hardware/software setup and validation in a variety of lab configurations. This will include various OS platforms, storage products, databases, security protection software, High Availability clustering software, etc. The candidate must be a thinker, well organized and able to work within fast paced engineering environments and is also expected via collaboration with the broader Technical Support, QA and Developer teams to contribute to the continual improvements to our processes and methodologies, all with the goal of continually improving the product quality and customer experience. This internship is located in our Sunrise, Florida office location.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Configure and duplicate customers and technology partners’ environment where necessary to integrate and validate our cryptographic solutions with that of the technology partners or customers.
Work closely with global development teams to diagnose issues and validate fixes
Learn about containers and cloud technology
Basic Qualifications:
Pursuing in bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar field
Experience working with Linux/UNIX and Windows.
Familiar with Operating Systems configuration and installation
Technical understanding of:
File Systems and Storages
Databases (SQL and noSQL)
TCP/IP networking
Client-server architected environments
Skills in C, C++, Java, Python and/or shells scripting
Experience with databases, particularly with Oracle, Sybase, DB2, or MongoDB is a plus
Knowledge of virtualized server technologies and cloud services is a plus
Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
Must have good written & verbal communication skills and excellent track record of success.
