We’re looking for a Field Service Technician - Onsite in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

Position Overview:

The Field Service Technician will provide support to our customers and deliver on all the services and offerings, Entrust contracts with our customers in Belo Horizonte in Brazil. They provide both preventative and corrective maintenance, and ensure the equipment at the customer sites in proper working order. The Field Service Technician will perform the accountabilities detailed below and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Electromechanical Emergency and Preventative Maintenance:

  • Perform high quality preventative and emergency maintenance services on Entrust equipment

  • Work with a high degree of autonomy with the ability to test, diagnose and resolve issues on systems that may include:

    • Mechanical embossers, thermal image application and laminating, Drop on demand technology, magstripe and chip data writing, ultraviolet curing

  • Day-to-day repairs may consist of:

    • Cleaning rollers, sensors, cavities and such as required

    • Calibrating sensors, data read/write devices, application pressure, etc.

    • Evaluation/ replacement of parts for wear and misalignment (includes servo & stepper motors, spindles, clutches, belts, bearings, etc.)

    • Evaluation/ replacement of temperature/ proximity/ position sensors

    • Software adjustments for temperature, hardware positioning, etc.

    • Utilizing repair and service manuals to troubleshoot card printer systems

    • Utilizing test equipment such as voltmeter and laptop

    • Utilizing hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, etc.

  • Follow established processes for service activity reporting and call management

  • Stay at the customer site daily to provide service and maintenance as applicable

Customer Interaction:

  • Interact with customer operations staff

  • Be consistently reliable and timely in all aspects of the position, and display a positive attitude

  • Demonstrate customer relation skills that allow for independent resolution of most situations without management assistance

  • Work to continually improve customer relations

  • Adjusts to customer culture in communication, dress code, and compliance with their behavioral standards yet maintaining and modeling Entrust values

Learning and Development:

  • Participate in company sponsored personal development and quality initiatives

  • Complete all company training and development courses required by Entrust

  • Develop competency in required applications to confidently use diverse software and systems required by the operation

  • Assist less experience personnel that require assistance with difficult repair problems

  • Committed to continuously improve by sharing ideas, problem resolution successes, and suggestions on process improvement

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

  • Minimum of 2 year of electromechanical technician experience

  • Proficient problem solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Proficient with PC’s, current operating systems and relevant software applications

  • For relevant roles ability and willingness to drive to several customer sites daily to complete assigned customer work

  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours/shifts, assignments and travel when required, including temporary off-site short-term assignments in other locations

  • Willingness to be on-call

  • Fluent in English and Portuguese

  • Ability to lift to 70 lbs. and spend the majority of the shift sitting, bending, stooping, walking, etc.

  • Valid and active drivers license, insurability if applicable for the role

  • Overtime is required as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Electronics or related field or equivalent verifiable training

  • Additional electromechanical technician or field service experience

  • Entrust central issuance

  • Advanced technical education

  • Proficient in electro-mechanics, digital electronics and software required to maintain Entrust and 3rd party products

  • Skilled with tools and electronic test equipment

Técnico de Serviço de Campo

Visão Geral da Posição:

O Técnico de Serviço de Campo fornecerá suporte aos nossos clientes e entregará todos os serviços e ofertas contratados pela Entrust com nossos clientes em Belo Horizonte, Brasil. Ele realizará manutenção preventiva e corretiva, garantindo que os equipamentos nos locais dos clientes estejam em perfeito funcionamento. O Técnico de Serviço de Campo executará as responsabilidades detalhadas abaixo e outras tarefas conforme designado..

Responsabilidades:

Manutenção Eletromecânica Preventiva e de Emergência:

  • Executar serviços de manutenção preventiva e de emergência de alta qualidade nos equipamentos da Entrust.

  • Trabalhar com alto grau de autonomia, com capacidade de testar, diagnosticar e resolver problemas em sistemas que podem incluir:

    • Gravadores mecânicos, aplicação de imagem térmica e laminação, Tecnologia Drop on Demand , Gravação de dados em tarja magnética e chip , Cura ultravioleta.

  • Reparos diários podem incluir:

    • Limpeza de rolos, sensores, cavidades, conforme necessário

    • Calibração de sensores, dispositivos de leitura/gravação de dados, pressão de aplicação, etc.

    • Avaliação/substituição de peças desgastadas ou desalinhadas (motores servo e de passo, fusos, embreagens, correias, rolamentos, etc.)

    • Avaliação/substituição de sensores de temperatura/proximidade/posição.

    • Ajustes de software para temperatura, posicionamento de hardware, etc.

    • Uso de manuais de reparo e serviço para solucionar problemas em sistemas de impressoras de cartões.

    • Uso de equipamentos de teste como voltímetro e laptop.

    • Uso de ferramentas manuais como chaves de fenda, alicates, chaves, etc.

  • Seguir processos estabelecidos para relatórios de atividades de serviço e gerenciamento de chamadas.

  • Permanecer no local do cliente diariamente para fornecer serviços e manutenção conforme aplicável

Interação com o Cliente:

  • Interagir com a equipe operacional do cliente

  • Ser consistentemente confiável e pontual em todos os aspectos da posição, demonstrando atitude positiva

  • Demonstrar habilidades de relacionamento com o cliente que permitam resolução independente da maioria das situações sem assistência da gestão

Qualificações:

Qualificações Básicas:

  • Ensino Médio completo ou equivalente

  • Mínimo de 2 anos de experiência como técnico eletromecânico

  • Habilidade comprovada em resolução de problemas e diagnóstico

  • Proficiência com PCs, sistemas operacionais atuais e aplicativos de software relevantes

  • Capacidade e disposição para deslocar-se a vários locais de clientes diariamente para concluir trabalhos atribuídos

  • Disponibilidade para trabalhar em horários/turnos flexíveis, atribuições e viagens quando necessário, incluindo deslocamentos temporários de curto prazo para outras localidades

  • Disponibilidade para plantão

  • Capacidade de levantar até 32 kg e passar a maior parte do turno sentado, curvando-se, agachando-se, caminhando, etc.

  • Carteira de motorista válida e ativa, com seguro aplicável para a função

  • Fluente em inglês e português

  • Horas extras conforme necessário

Qualificações Preferenciais:

  • Curso técnico ou superior em Eletrônica ou área relacionada, ou treinamento verificável equivalente

  • Experiência adicional como técnico eletromecânico ou em serviços de campo

  • Experiência com emissão central da Entrust

  • Educação técnica avançada

  • Proficiência em eletromecânica, eletrônica digital e software necessário para manutenção de produtos Entrust e de terceiros

  • Habilidade com ferramentas e equipamentos de teste eletrônico
