The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be a member of our Manufacturing Engineering team based at our Global Headquarters in Shakopee, MN.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Entrust you will have opportunities to:

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be a member of our Manufacturing Engineering team based at our Global Headquarters in Shakopee, MN.
Responsibilities:
- Provide production support for assigned products
- Support or lead projects to develop manufacturing capability to build new products. Responsibilities include writing work instructions, designing tools and fixtures, and researching and purchasing manufacturing equipment. Leadership roles may include representing manufacturing as a core team leader.
- Create new and improve existing manufacturing assembly and test processes
- Design and manage development of production assembly and test tooling or fixtures
- Develop and implement root cause corrective actions for manufacturing issues
- Lead and/or support continuous improvement projects
- Lead and/or provide high-level technical support to value engineering project teams
- Support new or improved manufacturing systems that improve quality, deliver performance, and increase efficiency
- Lead and/or work on projects that support global manufacturing operations
- Serve as a mentor/guide for less experienced manufacturing engineers
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years engineering experience
- Experience leading project teams
- Experience working with complex electro-mechanical products
- Able to travel up to 30% within the US and internationally
- Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on skills
- Strong interest in manufacturing and operations
- Experience and a high level of competence in working with global teams
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration
- Self-directed and organized individual with a high level of initiative and self confidence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Enjoys working with people and organizing their efforts to reach a goal
- Commitment to learning and continuous improvement
- Ability to develop assembly and test processes for complex electro-mechanical products
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma problem-solving methods

Compensation Range:
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $87,518-$128,360 per year (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan. In addition to your pay, Entrust offers eligible colleagues and their dependents comprehensive health and well-being programs which include medical, vision, dental, a generous 401(k) matching contribution, life and disability insurance, mental health coaching, virtual fitness programs, paid personal time off plus 12 paid holidays, parental leave and education reimbursement.
