Position Overview:
As a Systems Integrator at Entrust, you’ll play a key role in delivering secure identity and payment solutions within diverse customer environments. This dynamic role spans not just technical delivery and customer integration, but assisting in solution design or requirements, building lab infrastructure and performing various validations, working individually or as part of a project team on customizations to deliver to customer. This coordination with Entrust teams demonstrates additional value to the customer, developing customer rapport and becoming a trusted advisor. Within project delivery, the role involves owning assigned project tasks, driving them to completion.
Responsibilities:
Help with architecture, infrastructure, as well as internal and/or external deployment of Entrust products.
Work either independently or with integration/delivery team members on complex system configuration tasks.
Assist technical sales in customer calls refining technical requirements, sometimes via deep-dives.
Conduct pre-installation validation to discover and resolve issues during lab testing.
Participate in remote or on-site installation, integration, configuration, and validation into customer environment of Entrust solutions, sometimes including integration with third-party products.
Provide knowledge transfer and/or documentation to aid or ensure customers become self-sufficient. Generally involves conducting solution training often leveraging elements of standard or custom training documents.
Document solution deployment details for project documentation and technical support handoff.
Troubleshoot issues in servers, networks, TCP/IP, RS-232, Microsoft/Linux OS, databases, hardware, fault-tolerance, availability, and scalability.
Provide escalation level troubleshooting when required, acting as liaison with customer and support teams.
Assist with production PKI and related-product deployment issues where in scope.
Become familiar with product SDK or integration hooks, sometimes providing scripting to assist customers.
Assist in specification of hardware and logistics around shipment and tracking of solution products.
Remain open to learning new skills, products or responsibilities as the business landscape/opportunities evolve.
Basic Qualifications:
Strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or co-operatively in teams.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, Engineering or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant corporate or commercial experience as a Systems or Support Engineer or related.
Card personalization industry experience, including exposure and/or experience in smart card (EMV at minimum).
Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Key Management.
Experience in setup, administration, networking and common services such as Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, and IIS.
Basic programming and/or scripting experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, intermediate batch, Python or PowerShell. Basic skills in SQL query language and .NET architecture.
Source control tools such as GIT, Bitbucket, or JFrog and collaboration/AI tools like Microsoft Teams, CoPilot, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, and Oracle.
Ability and willingness to travel (typically 25%, occasionally up to 60%) - based upon business needs. Travel frequency and duration vary among seasons and project types, generally spanning a few days to 2 weeks at a time.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Hardware Security Modules from Entrust, SafeNet or Thales.
Entrust product experience (Entrust Adaptive Issuance Suite, Certificate Authority, Admin Services, Identity Enterprise, Identity as a Service, Secura, DPP or DSS).
Cloud services such as AWS and Azure and Containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Podman, etc...
SCOM, SCCM, Endpoint Manager (Intune) or similar automated operations and delivery management platforms.
Linux, XML/HTML, Eclipse, Apache/Tomcat, Java, C#, ASP.NET, and .NET programming.
Security+ certification or basic understanding of Security DevOps.
Financial, Government, and large enterprise corporate sector experience.
Database analysis, design, programming (T-SQL, PL/SQL)

Compensation Range:
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $65,048-$95,403 per year (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan. In addition to your pay, Entrust offers eligible colleagues and their dependents comprehensive health and well-being programs which include medical, vision, dental, a generous 401(k) matching contribution, life and disability insurance, mental health coaching, virtual fitness programs, paid personal time off plus 12 paid holidays, parental leave and education reimbursement.
