About the role:

Owkin is looking for a People Ops Apprentice to help and support the day-to-day activities ofOwkins people department. You will work closely with the People Ops Manager and Opsteam to ensure that employees are treated fairly and help to deliver on the global peoplestrategy.

This role will support our fast growing startup environment and be an integral part ofmanaging the onboarding/offboarding process, responding to day-to-day questions andconcerns, organizing paperwork to ensure that all templates are up-to-date and accurate,and working on cultivating a great work environment.

In particular, you will:

  • Be the first line of support for employees with People related questions and take ownership of any query and/or issues raised seeing it through to resolution for you scope.Update and maintain employee data in systems to support data integrity in our HRIS (HiBoB) for your scope.
  • Contribute the on/off boarding process.
  • Be responsible for the lunch voucher, transportation and cycle to work scheme.
  • Assist the People Ops Manager for internal HR administrative requests (transportation, certificates…)
  • Lead relations with our external partners (Swile, Bee to Green, médecine du travail....)
  • Be the point of contact for interns and apprenticeships, ensure the onboarding and offboarding.
  • HR project management , ensure workflow and procedures, updating existing processes, and proactively finding opportunities for process improvement

Position is based in Paris

About you

  • A university degree, minimum of a Bachelor in RH administration on a apprenticeship contract
  • You are organized and able to manage multiple subjects at the same time in autonomy
  • You have a strong communication skills with an ability to build trust-based relationships, fluent in English and french
  • Passionate about people and how they function together to create a valuable organization
  • Willing to learn and grow with the team,
  • First experience in HR would be appreciated
  • Passionate about human relationships
