About the role:
We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated marketing intern to join our growing marketing department. If you’re an ambitious individual who wants to build a career in scientific marketing, then we want to work with you. Your work will include planning and producing content, keeping marketing trackers updated and supporting a team of product marketing specialists to deliver for their teams.
In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should have excellent multitasking and organizational abilities. The successful candidate will also have a good grasp of marketing techniques and social media platforms. The following responsibilities are nonexhaustive, and depending on the evolving missions of the marketing team, may be adapted.
In particular, you will:
- Keeping important marketing systems and databases updated - Marketing’s internal page (Happeo), scientific publication tracker, case study repository, marketing materials tracker, customer satisfaction report, etc.
- Working with marketing budget owners to update the budget dashboard
- Organizing the marketing drive database- ensure all materials are filed away and labelled appropriately
- Building marketing collateral (presentations, brochures, etc) with various team members for internal and external commercial purposes
- Helping marketing team update weekly business report
- Working with Lead designer to monitor website and update content via CMS (Hubspot)
- Helping marketing events coordinator with conference logistics
- Researching and evaluating competitor marketing
- Coordinating marketing team events and transversal meetings
- Monitor and improve marketing performance: Monitor and update monthly stats to track the performance of our website, social media handles, newsletters, and prior campaigns. Maintain dashboards to gain an overview of the marketing campaigns. Newsletters: Coordinate with different department leads to draft monthly newsletters. Track the performance of newsletters.
- Community management on social media: Coordinate with company research experts to ensure consistent posting and engagement on their channels (internal/external social listening and content suggesting). Investigate ways to optimise our presence on Twitter.
Position is based in our Paris office.
About you
Required qualifications / experience:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate course for marketing, communications, or in a similar field.
- Familiarity with marketing computer software and social media platforms.
- Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a passion for marketing.
- Outstanding multitasking abilities.
