About the role

Position based in Paris with an ideal starting date April 2025.

We are looking for an inspirational intern to join our Biomedical team. Reporting to the Head of Medicine, you will have the opportunity to support our efforts to build a comprehensive multimodal dataset in various I&I indications (skin, lung, gut, kidney) and help the team with our drug positioning program.

In particular, you will

  • Participate in the creation of a Data Dictionary (clinical , biological variables) for the entire project in collaboration with other departments ( DataOps, R&T)
  • Enrich our I&I signature atlas with updated gene signature list related to Cell type/ Pathways or MOAs of interest
  • Identify mechanisms of resistance (or compensatory pathways) for preselected MOAs.
  • Participate in the Scientific Watch activities and summarize key points for the Team
  • Communicate with the data scientist, project manager teams and manager to ensure high quality of the data.
  • Utilise data visualisation and basic statistical methods to elucidate underlying sources of variation and trends, facilitating informed decision-making

About you

Required qualifications / experience:

  • Currently pursuing or completing a Medical degree in Immunology, internal medicine, Nephrology… or ; PharmaD Degree or finishing a Master's degree in Immunology.
  • Experience and knowledge in Immunology.
  • Strong interest in biology, but also Machine Learning with the willingness to understand the whole process.
  • Experience with data organisation and visualization tools with the ability to create plots to visualize QC data such as MS Excel or Google sheets.
  • Experience in data analysis and statistical methods with the ability to show trends and patterns and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Experience with search in Pubmed, Clinicaltrial.gov.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to conduct searches on Pubmed, clinicaltrial.gov databases.

Preferred qualifications/bonus:

  • Experience In clinical trial, RWD, for M.D or PharmaD
  • Experience in molecular biology lab work such as RNA/DNA isolation, PCR, computational biology
  • Ability to use database like Reactome, MiSigDB
