Virtus, part of FIS Client Office, provides collateral administration services along with middle-office support for global asset managers. Our platform delivers a fully automated front-to-back office infrastructure, combining advanced technology with expert operational support.

Our European team plays a critical role in servicing a rapidly expanding client base, delivering daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and ensuring operational excellence across complex CLO transactions.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Cash Flow & Reconciliation: Prepare daily cash flow reports and reconcile fund transactions, cash, and investment activity for multiple CLO portfolios, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

  • Trade & Settlement Management: Enter and monitor pending trade orders; manage and process bond and loan settlements, liaising closely with operations teams and trade counterparties

  • Pre-Trade Analysis: Execute pre-trade simulations for portfolio managers by adding proposed trades to existing portfolios and calculating impacts on coverage, collateral quality, and concentration tests

  • Compliance Monitoring: Perform daily compliance checks against CLO indenture requirements; validate portfolio data and produce monthly compliance reports under strict deadlines

  • Waterfall & Distribution Support: Assist with raising cash for distributions and ensure accurate execution of waterfall calculations

  • Operational Tasks: Enter check/wire requests and maintain strong relationships with trust managers, financial partners, and global asset managers

  • Work independently with minimal supervision, proactively resolving issues and escalating when necessary

Exposure Across the CLO Lifecycle

In this role, you will gain end-to-end exposure to all segments of the CLO lifecycle, including:

  • Warehouse stage – supporting initial portfolio ramp-up and trade execution

  • Deal closing – assisting with settlement, documentation, and compliance setup

  • Post-reinvestment period – managing ongoing reporting, compliance, and portfolio optimization

  • Reset and refinancing stages – coordinating amendments, waterfall recalculations, and investor reporting

  • Maturity and redemption – handling final portfolio wind-down, redemption processes, and closing reconciliations

What You Bring

  • Up to 5 years of experience in financial services, ideally in structured credit or CLO operations

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or Organizational Sciences, or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge of corporate debt, syndicated loans, and CLO structures is a strong plus

  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
