This Role
What you'll achieve with us 🥇
You'll be on the ground floor of a high-growth company:

HR Management:
Oversee and manage the daily HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and local labor laws.
Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR-related inquiries and issues.
Coordinate and facilitate employee training and development programs.

Compliance:
Ensure the company’s HR practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Monitor and stay up-to-date with changes in labor laws and regulations in both the Philippines and California.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
Develop and implement compliance training programs for employees and management.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
Prepare and submit required compliance reports and filings.
Generate HR and compliance reports to assist management in decision-making.

Employee Relations:
Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
Promote company culture and values through employee engagement initiatives.
Organize and participate in employee recognition and wellness programs.

Collaboration:
Work closely with the management team in Redwood City to align HR and compliance strategies with company objectives.
Coordinate with external legal advisors and consultants on compliance-related matters.
Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives.
Requirements ✅
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR management and compliance roles.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations in the Philippines and California.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficient in Ashby, Rippling, and Google Applications.
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Interview process
Intro Call (30 min, via Google Meet): Simply for us to get to know one another!

Pay and Working Hours
You will be an independent contractor, earning $175/weekly.
You will be working Tuesdays - Saturdays, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm.
You wil not receive the benefits below (for US employees).
