You’ll be joining us at an exciting time - we’ve recently launched our physician marketplace product in the USA to great success, have raised over $60m in VC funding and are on track to grow over 300% in 2024.

Having demonstrated the demand for our product across Atlanta, We are now looking for an Expansion Manager to help us scale into new territories across the US!

What You Will Be Getting Involved In

This role is field based across the U.S.. You must have your own car and a clean driving license.

As an early stages business, you can expect your role to develop over time. However, some of the types of things you could be getting involved in are:

  • Introducing the benefits of the scan.com platform to new imaging centres in order to drive patients to them
  • Identify and call on large Radiology practices to partner with Scan.com
  • Meeting sales targets for signing Imaging Centers onto Scan.com
  • Meeting sales targets for Imaging orders to Scan.com
  • Working closely with Business Development directors to identify areas of need for supply
  • Maintaining relationships with imaging centers and Radiology practices and sharing feedback/insight back into the wider Scan.com team
  • Building cross functional relationships with team members across US and UK
  • Playing a key role in shaping the future success of Scan.com in the US

WHAT YOU MIGHT BRING TO THE TABLE:

We don't believe anyone is the finished article and therefore you might not tick all the boxes. However, these might be some of the ways you are currently adding value that apply to this role:

  • Proven experience in a closing sales role, ideally field sales
  • Proven success in identifying and closing enterprise level sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident cold caller. This role requires dropping into potential clients unannounced. You should feel confident in that element of the role
  • Previous experience in medical sales is advantageous but not essential
  • Previous experience or a desire to work within an early stages business where priorities change and things move fast!
  • A motivated self starter who can work autonomously is a must

THE TOP 5 THINGS WE WANT YOU TO ACHIEVE IN YOUR FIRST YEAR ARE

  • Each of the geographies we operate in have sufficient supply
  • We have multiple modalities in each geography
  • Scan.com is in a partnership with at least one of the large national providers
  • Scan.com is in a partnership with at least one major hospital system in each geography we operate in
  • Scan.com is starting to enter into subscription agreements with Imaging Centres

HOW WE WILL INTERVIEW YOU:

We try to keep our interview process short and as a small business we can move through the stages quickly. Due to availability there may be a change to the order of the interview process, but generally speaking this is what you can expect:

  • Introductory call/interview with Clare, our VP of People The call is usually via telephone and will last around 30 minutes
  • Should it feel like there is an initial fit for all, we will invite you to a video call with the hiring manager for around 45 minutes. This is a more structured interview and will deep dive into the role and technical needs
  • Some, if not all, of our roles will have a small assessment stage. This might be in person, a take home assessment or further video calls. Length varies, however we are mindful you will have your own work to do and therefore try to keep it as simple as possible
  • Meet the founders and/or other team members. Again, length varies depending on how many people and whether in person or via video call
  • Offer!
