You'll be joining us at an exciting time - we've recently launched our Traumatic Brain Injury Assessment Service in the USA to great success, have raised over $60M in VC funding, and are on track to grow over 300% in 2024.


We're seeking exceptional part-time Neuropsychologists to support clinical evaluations for patients in Massachusetts for our national virtual TBI assessment service, Braincussion. You will join a team of four Neuropsychologists, who are seeing tens of patients a day. This is an incredible opportunity to develop your clinical experience and exposure to concussion testing.

We work closely with FDA-approved concussion testing protocols and practices. You will be working directly with Dr. Doran, who has over 30 years of experience in the field and has seen hundreds of thousands of concussions.


  • Experience in mTBI Assessment: Prior experience conducting assessments and evaluations specifically focused on mild traumatic brain injuries (mTBI), including familiarity with relevant assessment tools and protocols
  • Knowledge of Traumatic Brain Injury: In-depth understanding of the neurobiological, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral effects of traumatic brain injury, particularly mild TBI
  • Proficiency in Neuropsychological Assessment: Strong skills in administering, scoring, and interpreting neuropsychological tests commonly used in mTBI evaluations, such as the RBANS, CNS Vital Signs, and ImPACT
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including neurologists, neurosurgeons, physical therapists, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care to patients with mTBI
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex neuropsychological findings in a clear and understandable manner to patients, their families, and other healthcare providers
  • Continued Professional Development: Commitment to ongoing education and professional development in the field of neuropsychology and traumatic brain injury, including attending conferences and workshops and staying updated on the latest research and best practices


  • Doctoral Degree: PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology from an accredited university
  • Completion of APA-Accredited Internship: Successful completion of an internship accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA)
  • Post-Doctoral Training: Completion of a post-doctoral fellowship or training program specifically in neuropsychology
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a psychologist
  • Participation in PSYPACT: Registration and compliance with the requirements of the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT) if applicable, to practice across state lines


We keep our interview process short, and as a lean business, we can move through the stages quickly. Due to availability, there may be a change to the order of the interview process, but generally speaking, this is what you can expect:

  • A pre-screen call with our People team, where required; otherwise, depending on the quality of your experience and application, you will be invited to interview with Dr. Doran
  • Introductory call/interview with Dr. Doran. The call is usually via telephone (video if based in the US) and will last around 30 minutes


  • Annual pay rate of $400k (freelance)
