About the company

At Svested, our vision is to supercharge growth, create wealth, and fulfill dreams through ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan). Svested supports startups in Southeast Asia in their ESOP journey by providing advisory for ESOP set up as well as a user-friendly platform to manage ESOP and equity.

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious, business-oriented, customer-centric, driven, and energetic person to join us as a Business Development Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, qualifying, acquiring, and onboarding new customers. You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer.

What you will be doing

• Develop & execute the go-to-market strategy and growth plan for Singapore and Southeast Asia 

• Identify, research on, and reach out to potential customers  

• Identify their needs and be able to articulate our services and value propositions during meetings 

• Establish, develop, and maintain positive relationships with potential and existing customers and partners, such as startups, VC and PE firms, accelerators, professional services firms, etc 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and assist in the product development process by surfacing relevant feedback from partners  

• Guide clients during the onboarding process and address feedback from clients 

• Represent Svested at various platforms, such as events/trade shows/webinars 

• Analyse targets and outcomes, and review gaps and opportunities 

• Identify trends and market opportunities in the ESOP space

• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, enjoy interacting and forming relationships with partners 

• You are organised, analytical, and comfortable with data 

• You have experience in building partnerships / sales / business development 

• You have a keen interest and a good network within the startup ecosystem in Southeast Asia

Job Term

6-month contract with opportunity for extension
