We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to shape and lead our integrations into ecommerce and payments stacks. 🧞
About Trudenty:
The Trudenty Trust Network provides personalised consumer fraud risk intelligence for fraud prevention across the commerce and payments ecosystem, starting with first-party and APP fraud prevention.
We are at an exciting point in our journey, as we go to market and drive growth of The Trudenty Trust Network. This next chapter of our story is one in which we will drive impact across the commerce ecosystem, create to stay at the leading edge of innovation across the industry whilst building material value for our team (inclusive of shareholders).
We are a 10 person seed stage company that has secured partnerships with notable names in the payments and commerce ecosystem, and raised investment from our first choice of partners who align with our values and ambition for the future. Our team is one of exceptional ‘outliers’; defined by grit, resilience, creativity in problem solving, intelligence and mastery of our domains. We are also mission-driven and results-oriented. We are a remote team, that co-works from London frequently. So easy travel into London should be possible for everyone in our team.
The role
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to shape and lead our integrations into ecommerce and payments stacks. You will work with our sales/business development function to scope partner and merchant integrations, with our product team to define technical requirements for engineering and design APIs, you will create beautiful API/integration documentation and work with partner/merchant teams to integrate the Trudenty Trust Networks into their stacks. Naturally, this role will interface closely with our engineering team giving you the opportunity to support the team with code reviews and architecture design to optimise for reliability and costs.
A bit more on what you’ll do:
The ideal candidate has a background in payments (even better if merchant payments), has worked as a product manager in a high growth company and ideally has even been an engineer at some point. You are well versed in payments integrations and APIs, have technical know-how in API design, and are skilful in compiling well designed integration documents.

- Solutions & Integrations:
- Drive the product’s integration with merchants, ecommerce platform and payments stacks.
- Work closely with customers and partners to understand their integration needs and ensure our products meet those requirements.
- Oversee the end-to-end API design process, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure integrations.
- Design and compile API and integration documentation.
- Technical Leadership:
- Serve as the product liaison between engineering and the business, ensuring technical solutions align with business goals.
- Drive the API strategy, ensuring that our APIs are easy to integrate, well-documented, and meet the highest security standards.
- Provide technical guidance to customers and partners during the integration process.
- Optimise our solution for reliability, scalability and cost.
- Product and Sprint Management:
- Lead sprint planning, prioritize technical tasks and the product roadmap, and ensure timely execution while managing technical risks and dependencies.
- Translate customer feedback, market research, and business requirements into detailed technical product specifications.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive product roadmap aligned with company goals and customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, GTM, sales, and customer support, to deliver high-impact products.
- Customer & Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify customer pain points and opportunities in the payments and fraud prevention space.
- Gather and analyze feedback from customers, partners, and sales teams to continuously improve the product.
- Develop strong relationships with key customers and industry partners to ensure product-market fit and value creation.

What we’re looking for:
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in product; with a focus on payments, fraud prevention, or financial technology.
- Strong background in payments processing, including knowledge of payment gateways, acquiring, and issuing banks.
- Proven experience with API design and integrations, particularly in the context of payments
- Familiarity with both merchants and banks, understanding their distinct needs and challenges within the payments ecosystem.
- Client-facing experience with the ability to effectively communicate product roadmaps and technical details to external clients.
- Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, intuitive product features.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive problem solving across teams.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Cash: £70-90k (depending on experience)
