Role location: Hybrid (three days in-office, two days virtual)
Job Summary :
Performs non-technical project completion using an internal customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Coordinate cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget.
Provides high-level administrative support, event coordination and project management support as needed for project, program and PMO management. Anticipates, initiates, coordinates and follows up on administrative activities and special projects.
Assists members of various departments/committees in developing and maintaining project schedules and project management reporting documents, ensuring all project documentation is accurate and complete.
Has general understanding of principles in project management.
WHAT YOU BRING:
At least 5 years of experience in PMO tools such as MS Office, Project Management (MS Project, Smartsheet etc.), Financial Planning, Budgeting, Resource Planning.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
Knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines
Knowledge of the industry project management best practices, i.e., Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
Proven experience providing independent judgment and discretion
Proven experience working independently under general instructions on a large variety of special projects
Effective analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to utilize project management software to manage projects, e.g., MS Project and auxiliary tools
Ability to maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature
