Role location: Hybrid (three days in-office, two days virtual)

Job Summary :

Performs non-technical project completion using an internal customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget.

  • Provides high-level administrative support, event coordination and project management support as needed for project, program and PMO management. Anticipates, initiates, coordinates and follows up on administrative activities and special projects.

  • Assists members of various departments/committees in developing and maintaining project schedules and project management reporting documents, ensuring all project documentation is accurate and complete.

  • Has general understanding of principles in project management.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • At least 5 years of experience in PMO tools such as MS Office, Project Management (MS Project, Smartsheet etc.), Financial Planning, Budgeting, Resource Planning.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience

  • Knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines

  • Knowledge of the industry project management best practices, i.e., Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)

  • Proven experience providing independent judgment and discretion

  • Proven experience working independently under general instructions on a large variety of special projects

  • Effective analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and time management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to utilize project management software to manage projects, e.g., MS Project and auxiliary tools

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature
