Business Analyst I (fixed term position)
Contract to the end of May 2026. Core working hours: 12-20 CET (flexibility required)
About Us:
The Operations Readiness Team plays a key role in facilitating smooth and efficient transitions within Transfer Agency business operations during periods of change or implementation. Through structured planning and close collaboration, the team helps minimize disruption and ensures the successful adoption of business changes—whether they involve process improvements, new product rollouts, or system enhancements—across the organization. The Role: As a Business Analyst I, you will support the analysis, documentation, and testing of business requirements to ensure successful delivery of projects. A key part of your role will involve assisting in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and facilitating clear communication between business stakeholders and technical teams. This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
What you will be doing:
- Assist in collecting and documenting business requirements from stakeholders.
- Support the creation of process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Help prepare UAT plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to schedule and execute UAT sessions.
- Document test results and assist in tracking and resolving defects.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to clarify requirements.
- Participate in meetings, take notes, and prepare status updates.
- Support training and onboarding materials for end-users when needed.
- Develop knowledge of business processes, systems, and tools.
- Stay updated on best practices in business analysis and testing.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 0–2 years of experience in business analysis, quality assurance, or related roles (internships count).
- Exposure to UAT or software testing is a plus.
- Basic understanding of SDLC and testing concepts.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar is an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication in English.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a team.
