About the Role
As a Sales Executive, you’ll lead the growth of FIS’s Derivatives and Securities Processing Solutions across the DACH region. You’ll engage with capital markets participants in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to drive adoption of advanced derivatives platforms that support trading, clearing, and post-trade operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new client acquisition across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and expansion of existing clients for FIS’s derivatives and securities clearing and settlement platforms.
- Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of opportunities, ensuring consistent progression through the sales cycle.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans tailored to DACH market trends and client needs.
- Engage with senior stakeholders within the target client base to understand trading and operational challenges, positioning FIS derivatives and securities processing solutions effectively.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with key market players and consultants in region to expand the FIS brand and facilitate business flow.
- Collaborate with internal product, solution, and delivery teams to craft compelling, client-specific proposals.
- Maintain accurate sales activity records in CRM (Dynamics) and report on pipeline health and performance.
- Stay informed on regional market regulations including EMIR, MiFID II, and BaFin requirements.
- Promote the full suite of FIS derivatives offerings, including SaaS and managed service models.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven sales experience in financial technology, with a focus on derivatives trading, clearing, or risk platforms.
- Strong understanding of derivatives markets, instruments, and regulatory frameworks in the DACH region.
- Fluency in English and German (additional languages like French or Italian are a plus).
- A well-established network within banks, brokers, asset managers, and clearing firms in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A consultative, client-first approach to business development.
