About the role:
The Sales Solution Consultant Specialist is responsible for working with the sales team in identifying clients’ needs, proposing and demonstrating the FIS risk management solutions and works in conjunction with the sales executives to pursue high value software and services sales and business development opportunities within FIS’s current and prospective client base to achieve or exceed yearly sales goals, increase market share and maximize profits.
As a Sales Solution consultant, the candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the clients technical and end user relationships and assisting sales executives in selling the strategic vision at C-level to board level as required.
What you will be doing:
Core Pre-Sales Activities
- Support FIS clients in MEA for FIS Balance Sheet Manager and Enterprise Risk Solutions.
- Understand global industry best practices, regional regulatory landscape and local operating nuances
- Identify and qualify the client’s business and functional requirements including responding to any RFI/RFP’s in a professional and timely manner.
- Formulate a value proposition to meet client needs and solution to close any identified gaps with internal stakeholders.
- Ensure excellence in client engagement practices.
- Build customer relationships by providing both domain and solution expertise.
- Maintain an effective presence at industry events, conferences, seminars and trainings as required.
Regional Sales Activities
- Provide a central point of contact for MEA sales for risk solutions.
- In conjunction with the sales executives help manage and control the sales cycle from initial prospect contact, client needs analysis, solution presentation and demo, completion of proposals, delivery schedules and product specifications.
- Collaborate with regional seller to align strategy and priorities to formulate relevant Go-To-Market initiatives.
- Work with Marketing, Strategy and other FIS functions on researching new market verticals and opportunities.
Partner with Product Management
- Ensure regular cadence with relevant global and regional product management team to collaborate on development initiatives as well as to share context, challenges and needs of MEA clients.
- Maintain expertise in related banking & corporate risk management issues relative to trends, competition, and customer needs.
- Maintain expertise relative to the function and technology of the FIS product offering in order to add value to clients and sell effectively.
Global and Regional Collaboration
- Help build and maintain regional and global pre-sales processes, supporting documentation and collaterals via the relevant Centre of Excellence.
- Actively participate in global calls to improve region visibility.
- Interface with the Professional Services, Client eXperience (Support) and Development organizations.
What you will need:
- At least 10+ years of industry experience either at a commercial bank, financial services consultancy or similar fintech companies.
- Extensive experience in treasury or risk department: ALM, Capital Management or Liquidity/Credit/Market Risk Management.
- Up-to-date knowledge of business practices and regulatory landscape in key markets across different jurisdictions.
- Ability to work autonomously whilst providing support to the team.
- Enhanced time management and prioritization skills
- Outstanding client engagement abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- The role will require 20-30% of travel.
Added bonus if you have:
- Prior work experience in a similar fintech company in a pre-sales or SME capacity.
- Prior work experience in risk management or risk modelling.
- Additional language relevant to the region (Arabic or French).
- Relevant industry qualifications (e.g. CFA or FRM)
