About the Role
As a Senior Sales Executive, you’ll lead business development for FIS’s Derivatives solutions to deliver the Cleared Derivatives growth target by supporting T&AS1 sellers in region to originate and progress new pipeline. You’ll engage with capital markets participants, including target prospects and relevant consultants and 3rd parties, to position the Cleared Derivatives suite in order to build the business and drive adoption. The role is quota bearing.
Main Responsibilities
- Identify addressable market(s) in region using relevant tools and 3rd parties
- Build and execute a sales execution and go-to-market approach in coordination with LOB, SEG, BPS, PS and CX stakeholders covering new logo generation and optimising upsell path for existing clients
- Generate sales enablement materials including sales training & accreditation to ensure seller readiness
- Curate and manage sales campaigns to drive pipeline generation goals
- Own local market presence (in tandem with assigned seller) with relevant consultancies and at industry conferences to open up addressable markets
- Maintain accurate sales activity records in CRM (Dynamics) and report on pipeline health and performance.
- Stay informed on derivatives market regulations including EMIR, MiFID II, and global clearing mandates.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven sales and commercial experience in financial technology, with a focus on derivatives trading, clearing, or risk platforms.
- Strong understanding of derivatives markets, instruments, and regulatory frameworks in the UK and Europe.
- Fluency in English (additional European languages a plus).
- A well-established network within investment banks, asset managers, and clearing firms.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A consultative, client-first approach to business development.
