Working on a major modernisation project with a significant banking client you will be involved delivering quality managed services involving installation, compliance, stabilisation, design, code, testing, implementing, maintenance, and production support of in-house products and applications software that is delivered on time and within budget.

What you will be doing:

As a Lead Developer you will be focused on the ‘run’ aspect of our managed services contact where you will work closely with customers, business analysts, product teams and other stakeholders to deliver quality managed services. You will drive analysis and design of quality technical solutions ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies and complying with FIS architectural standards. You will also be:

  • Leading all the deliveries and development for our payment as a service managed services platform for all the payments products hosted in a multi-tenant platform. Involving in delivering enhancements while maintaining annual product updates and scheme compliances

  • Team lead (both offshore and local) and providing production support on a rostered basis with offshore developers and product teams to ensure customers' service levels are met.

  • End to end project deliveries responsibilities – initial requirement refinement, estimates, designs, build, testing support and implementations.

  • Working cohesively and follow-up with various stakeholders to ensure quality deliveries and timeline are met.

  • Participate in project enchantments work and ensure seamless transition to the run space.

What you bring:

  • Payment domain and card schemes knowledge and experience

  • Experience with product-based deliveries and maintenance

  • 10+ years of experience in a similar role with Australian working rights.

  • Strong sense of people leadership, project deliveries and technical solution designs.

  • Technologies – you must have strong C++ experience along with Unix/Linux, Oracle, SQL, Perl scripting, Shell scripting and Java for UI development.

  • ‘Can Do’ attitude, positive, ownership, accountability, multi-tasking, passionate are some traits we after.

Highly Desirable if you have:

  • Experience with FIS’ DataNavigator or IST Mas & Clearing product suites.

  • Experience working with any payment switches.
