About the team:
As a Senior UI Architect in the FIS Private Equity Suite team, you’ll lead the design and implementation of innovative user interface solutions for international clients, supporting agile teams in developing a world-class Private Equity platform. You’ll join a team of motivated professionals responsible for shaping the front-end architecture of our core product.
Operating in a dynamic and dispersed environment, you’ll be expected to drive UI strategy, set technical direction, and mentor development teams—requiring creativity, leadership, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Defining and evolving the UI architecture for large-scale, enterprise-grade web applications
- Leading the design and implementation of reusable UI components and frameworks (preferably in Angular)
- Collaborating with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend architects to deliver cohesive solutions
- Establishing and enforcing UI development standards, best practices, and code quality guidelines
- Conducting architectural reviews and providing technical leadership to development teams
- Evaluating and recommending new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance the UI stack
- Ensuring accessibility, performance, and scalability of UI solutions
- Mentoring and coaching front-end engineers
- Participating in project planning, estimation, and risk assessment
What you bring
- Extensive experience architecting and developing complex web applications using Angular (or similar frameworks)
- Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
- Experience with state management, modular design, and micro-frontend architectures
- Strong knowledge of UI/UX best practices, accessibility (WCAG), and performance optimization
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
