Role location: Hybrid (three days in-office, two days virtual)
About the role:
Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC) Procurement involves managing the process of installing, relocating, adding, or modifying IT assets within an organization. This includes tasks like setting up new hardware or software, moving equipment to different locations, adding new devices or functionalities, and updating configurations .
About the Team :
The teams primary function is to ensure efficient and organized asset management, particularly in environments with extensive IT infrastructure
What you will be doing:
Develops purchasing programs for the corporation.
Develops purchasing arrangements with vendors and suppliers.
Provides pricing quotes, completes purchase orders and processes requisitions for clients.
Keeps records of all acquisitions to ensure purchases remain within budget and on schedule.
Develops specifications for new contract orders.
Gathers quotations, examines bids and makes awards.
Monitors cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.
Develop and investigate supply sources and issue request for quotations, proposals or bids for those items not covered by any existing purchasing arrangement.
Resolves outstanding issues, complies with vendor requests and responds to client inquiries.
Receives requisitions and checks each item for quantity, specifications and delivery requirements.
Negotiates with vendors to ensure inventory is acquired in a cost effective and timely manner.
Serves as liaison to vendors and suppliers.
Other related duties assigned as needed.
What you will need:
Knowledge of supply chain or procurement functions and procedures
Knowledge of vendor relations
Knowledge of project management methods and techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various s levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
Excellent problem solving, team and time management skills managing multiple deadlines for self and others
Proficiency in evaluating the performance capabilities of subordinates as well as counsel subordinates in development and/or corrective discipline
Proficiency in making projections of future expenses based on analysis of cost effectiveness of past expenditures
Proficiency to operate independently
