About the Role:

Administer necessary product requirements to maintain consistent account control of clients using FIS software products and ensure the quality and utilization of FIS software products satisfies client needs.

About the Team:

We in MarketData Analyzer supports FIS proprietary suite of products like FAME, FEDM, TimeIQ, access Point, Power BI, Python and R Connectors and API based Applications. The products mainly cater to the Capital Markets and have clients worldwide.

What you will be doing:

• Provides in-depth product support to FIS clients by resolving incoming inquiries.

• Responds to customer product inquiries via telephone or in written internet-based email or chat sessions.

• Resolves customer concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or compatibility matters.

• Documents customer information and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development.

• Recreates client issues in test environment, Identifies/documents how applications and systems interact to support business processes.

• Interpersonal skills and technical product knowledge and expertise are critical to responding to daily Client-centric activities.

• Other related duties assigned as needed.

Key responsibilities:

• Incident management

• Act as the point of contact within a global support structure for diagnosis and resolution of incidents.

• Engage directly with clients to resolve incidents.

• Periodically fulfil on-call responsibilities to provide 24x7 support capabilities for major incidents.

• Provide immediate resolution in the shape of workarounds or scripts to address high priority incidents.

• Client relationship building

• Working with your clients to document their current business processes, procedures and work practices with the aim of identifying areas of improvement in system functionality and processes.

• Increase your clients’ efficient use of the software by suggesting optimal business practices and implementing functional solutions to address business process and procedural shortcomings.

• Proactively helping to prevent future problems by developing and documenting new initiatives and processes and highlighting any potential defects you may find.

• Handle pressure-filled situations across multiple clients, understanding any financial impact on a client and managing client needs and timelines against all other priorities.

• Responsibility for ongoing learning of the Market Data Analyzer Application suite and business processes of key clients. This entails creating and preparing detailed training manuals and ‘how to’ documents to clients and peers alike.

What you bring:

• Holds 1-3 years of IT Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, MCA, Business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.

• Approximately two years of experience providing product support (L2 & L3) for Java applications. Demonstrated proficiency in Linux systems, with expertise in Java, C, web services, VBA scripting, MySQL, Oracle, and web server administration (Tomcat).

Skills

• Prepared to work in both US and UK shifts on a rotational basis, demonstrating flexibility with international time zones and operational needs.

• Proficient in MySQL, with a strong grasp of core DBMS concepts for effective data management.

• Experienced with Linux systems and hands-on administration of webservers, particularly Apache Tomcat.

• Responsible for documenting client information and recurring technical issues to support product quality and development.

• Possesses foundational knowledge of FIS products and services to meet client needs efficiently.

• Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex data and solving technical challenges. • Familiar with programming, business analysis, or software product implementation to contribute to technical projects and business solutions.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and exceed internal and client expectations.

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently, and highly comfortable with computers and a variety of software applications.

• Strong oral and written communication skills, essential for client and team interactions and technical documentation.

• Proven problem-solving abilities for navigating complex situations and delivering effective solutions.
