About the team
The FIS insurance sales team is made up of dedicated pros who help insurance companies accelerate their digital journey. They get to know each client’s specific needs and offer customized solutions to boost efficiency, cut down on risk, and improve customer experiences. They use FIS’s full suite of insurance software, which includes tools for actuarial modelling, regulatory compliance, and workflow automation across health, life, annuity, and property & casualty lines.
About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished and commercially minded Senior Sales Executive to drive strategic new‑business growth across the UK insurance industry. In this role, you will partner with leading insurers seeking to modernise actuarial, operational, and customer‑facing systems. Operating from our London office, you will play a pivotal role in positioning our market‑leading insurance technology solutions to clients navigating evolving regulatory expectations, competitive pressures, and digital transformation demands within the UK market.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead new business acquisition across the UK insurance sector, targeting Tier‑1 and mid‑market insurers.
- Build and manage a high‑quality UK‑focused pipeline, ensuring structured progression through the full sales cycle.
- Develop and execute strategic go‑to‑market plans tailored to UK insurance trends, operational challenges, and regulatory drivers.
- Engage C‑suite and senior stakeholders (e.g., COOs, CIOs, Chief Underwriting Officers, Heads of Transformation) to deeply understand business needs and position our solutions for maximum impact.
- Collaborate closely with product, presales, delivery, and solutions teams to craft compelling proposals and value‑based narratives.
- Maintain accurate sales activity and forecasting within Dynamics CRM.
- Stay informed on UK insurance regulations (e.g., PRA, FCA), competitive landscape shifts, and broader market developments.
- Represent and promote our full insurance solutions portfolio across industry events, client engagements, and internal strategy sessions.
What You’ll Bring
- A strong and sustained track record in enterprise sales within the UK insurance market.
- Experience selling insurance technology, SaaS platforms, analytics, risk systems, or operational transformation solutions.
- Deep understanding of UK insurance operations — underwriting, policy management, claims, actuarial modelling, regulatory compliance, and operational risk.
- A well‑established network across UK insurers, brokers, MGAs, or technology ecosystem partners.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills.
- A consultative, insight‑driven approach with the ability to present complex technology solutions to senior decision‑makers.
- High levels of commercial acumen, relationship‑building strength, and long‑cycle sales discipline.
