About the team
FIS Prophet is an actuarial production platform consisting of a suite of applications covering model development through to results and for automating end-to-end production workflow. Prophet is used by many global insurance organizations, and the role will allow you to be part of the Prophet application support team, as part of the FIS Insurance Client Experience team.
What you will be doing
Your primary responsibilities will be to provide a high level of client experience in form of support and technical expertise for helping clients get the best use out of the applications and to further develop the product.
Principal Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be involved in all the following aspects of the role:
- Support – help clients resolve problems related to the Prophet application and other associated applications under Insurance Risk Suite. Types of activities include:
- Identify Infrastructure issues related to applications.
- Assist in solving complex issues technical and/or functional issues.
- Software licensing assistance
- Guidance in how to improve the user experience of Prophet and other associated applications.
- Excellent analytical skills along with good communication skills.
- Recommend customer training or consulting support where required
- Experience of supporting end users on products in financial domain across the globe.
- Problem solving and assessment of technical/functional support to clients.
- Working with clients to help them get the most out of Prophet and other associated applications under Insurance Risk Suite.
- Document – Contribute to Teams online knowledge base and client support documentation; develop and maintain procedural and policy documentation.
- Generate Ideas to Automate repetitive administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.
What you bring:
Knowledge / Experience
- 1-3 Years of experience in Application, Production Support with Windows Trouble Shooting
- Experience of working in a Product/Application Support teams operating in multiple shifts
- Good knowledge of troubleshooting windows issues, Knowledge of permissions on Windows.
- Knowledge of database architecture and database administration
- Knowledge of Windows/Networking with experience with Microsoft Desktop and Server operating systems and technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud and desktop infrastructure, including workstations, servers, networks, virtual technologies – AWS & Azure is a plus.
- Knowledge of Windows PowerShell is a plus.
- Knowledge of MS SQL is a plus.
- Experience using FIS Prophet Professional or other modelling application(s) is an add on.
- Familiarity with the fundamental principles of ITIL
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in technology related field, or other relevant field of study, or the equivalent in education and experience.
- ITIL v3 Foundation or higher desirable
