About the team:

Center of Excellence team pulls together all shared functions used across the division. This includes Training & Certification as well as Recruitment, Contractor Management and Governance. As a team our aim is to provide cost benefits and scale at pace. Right now, we are a small team with constant growth potential and expanded areas of responsibility.

About the role:

As a Senior Business Analyst in the CoE team, you will take ownership of the weekly and monthly status packages by consolidating inputs from project managers, finance teams, and technical leads. You will analyze performance trends, highlight variances against plan, and clearly communicate RAG statuses, risks, issues, dependencies, and key decisions to leadership. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain lightweight dashboards that track scope, schedule, financials, risks, and outcomes, ensuring information is both comprehensive and actionable. Leveraging these insights, you will propose and drive process improvements and corrective actions supported by robust data, fostering greater effectiveness across the division.

In order to support this very successful development in the future, you will:

  • coordinate the training and certification program between our partners and FIS training managers
  • plan and design business processes and make recommendations and changes in order to improve and support business systems and activities and/or to deliver greater effectiveness
  • Standardize routines and templates (status, risk review, dependency checks, change notes) to reduce cycle time and context switching
  • Support governance forums with high‑quality materials, precise minutes, and action tracking; ensure alignment between executive direction and team execution
  • Identify bottlenecks in reporting, decision flow, and handoffs; recommend process/automation improvements grounded in evidence
  • perform research and analysis to support business operations and presents findings to management.
  • Identify and implement best practices and suggest how to improve current practices.
  • Develop recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations.
  • Analyze and document business processes and metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Train internal employees on changes to business practices, processes or procedures.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and support less experienced team members, transferring specialist knowledge to other members of the teams.
  • Find the right people in the organization to get answers on arising issues.

What you bring:

  • Knowledge of financial services industry
  • Knowledge of basic financial analysis principles and ratios
  • Proficiency in standard office software, such as MS Office, Visio, MS Access, etc
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors)
  • Willingness to share relevant knowledge and expertise to other resources.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, customer service, conflict management and time management skills
  • Proactive gathering information and sharing ideas.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across global teams
  • Presentation, communication, and documentation (technical and functional) skills.
  • Perfectly fluent in English. A second European language is an advantage.
