Role location: Hybrid (three days in-office, two days virtual)

About the role:

  • This role provides endtoend application maintenance and support for the Vicor Remittance platform, ensuring stability, availability, and optimal system performance.

  • It serves as a primary technical contact for client inquiries, production issues, service requests, and operational activities.

  • The position requires strong ownership of incident management, alert response, and issue resolution, ensuring timely recovery and minimal business impact.

  • The role supports environment readiness, including deployments, upgrades, patching cycles, and participation in audit, compliance, or DR activities.

  • It is a hybrid role that blends technical troubleshooting, client support, coordination with L3/engineering teams, and operational excellence.


What you will be doing:

  • Monitoring system alerts and production activities, responding to incidents, failures, and performance issues to ensure uninterrupted platform service.

  • Handling service and change requests, including patching, upgrades, deployments, configuration updates, and certificate renewals.

  • Supporting vulnerability remediation activities, coordinating with Security, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to remediate findings.

  • Performing and supporting Disaster Recovery Exercises (DRE), ensuring documentation, validation, and test execution readiness.

  • Investigating and resolving clientreported issues, analyzing logs, tracing workflows, and providing clear, timely communication to stakeholders.

  • Documenting resolutions, updating runbooks, and contributing to process improvements that enhance operational stability.

  • Working with crossfunctional teams (L3 Development, Implementations, Infrastructure, ETG, etc.) to escalate complex issues and drive longterm fixes.


What you will need:

  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills with exposure to Linux/Unix, batch processing, application logs, and file transmission workflows.

  • Experience supporting production applications in a missioncritical environment—preferably financial services, remittance, or payment systems.

  • Familiarity with change management, including deployments, version upgrades, patching, and controlled release cycles.

  • Understanding of incident management processes, monitoring tools, alert analysis, and RCA documentation.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and communicate clearly with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

  • Willingness to participate in oncall rotations, maintenance windows, and clientdriven operational schedules.

  • A continuous improvement mindset and readiness to engage in knowledge sharing, documentation, and team collaboration
