What you will be doing

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer Lead to join our Money Movement Hub team. In this role, you will serve as the technical leader responsible for the design, development, and reliability of a mission-critical payment processing platform hosted on AWS. You will work across the full stack — front end and back end — while driving engineering best practices, CI/CD maturity, and DevOps culture within an agile team environment. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring both deep technical ability and collaborative team guidance.

What you bring:

• 5+ years of experience in Java backend development
• Should have good experience in Python
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices in Java and Python
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in an enterprise or regulated environment
• Good to have understanding of DevOps principles: automated testing, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, and release management
• Experience with both front-end (JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks) and back-end development
• Ability and willingness to participate in an on-call production support rotation
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
