  • Define and implement data governance frameworks covering:
    • Data quality and validation
    • Metadata management and lineage
    • Data classification and ownership
    • Retention, archival, and purge policies
  • Implement access controls, encryption, masking, and auditing aligned with regulatory requirements (financial services, privacy, and security standards)
  • Partner with risk, compliance, and security teams to ensure platform readiness for audits
  • Own database reliability including backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery
  • Proactively monitor and tune database performance
  • Define SLAs, SLOs, and operational runbooks for critical data services
  • Support incident resolution and root‑cause analysis
  • Work closely with AI engineers, architects, product owners, and security teams
  • Provide technical guidance on data design and best practices
  • Review designs and mentor other DBAs or engineers as the platform scales

What you bring:

  • 10 to 15 years of experience in database architecture or senior DBA roles
  • Proven experience owning end‑to‑end database lifecycle (design → build → operate)
  • Strong background in enterprise or FinTech environments
  • Strong expertise in relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
  • Experience with NoSQL and analytical databases (e.g., DynamoDB, Cassandra, MongoDB, BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
  • Exposure to vector databases or feature stores is a plus
  • Hands‑on experience with cloud‑managed data services (Mainly Azure; Optional AWS or GCP)
