Job Description

Design, code, test, implement, maintain and support applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. Work closely with customers, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive analysis and design of quality technical solutions ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies and complying with FIS

What you will be doing

In this role, you will be required to design, write, and maintain LANSA code for our future and ongoing projects. You will also be required to contribute to design and planning sessions as well as formulate approaches for current coding tasks.

Understanding the business problem and designing Analytics solution
Write clean, maintainable code following best practices (unit testing, source control, continuous integration, automation, design patterns, etc.)
Debug code and troubleshoot problems
Collaborate with other developers, testers, and system engineers to ensure quality product enhancements
Take full responsibility for the quality of code and test cases that are developed
An Individual contributor role more inclined towards the Development activities
Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you bring:

Knowledge / Experience

4+ years of experience in SDLC with primary focus on Lansa Development.
Experience in Commercial lending domain.
Experience in LANSA on AS/400 and Visual LANSA.
Understanding of object-oriented concepts.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Added bonus if you have:

Knowledge of FIS’ products and services
Knowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organization
Knowledge of financial services industry
Working in Agile methodology

Qualifications

A bachelor's/graduate degree in engineering, computer programming, computer science, or information technology.
