About the team:

FIS is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer (4–6 years) who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, observability systems, and deployment processes. The person will collaborate closely with development, QA, SRE, and Platform Engineering teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable software delivery.

What you will be doing:

1. CI/CD & Automation

• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure/AWS DevOps or equivalent.

• Automate build, test, security scanning, and deployment processes.

• Ensure high pipeline reliability and quick troubleshooting for failures.

2. Infrastructure Engineering

• Manage cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure), environments, and automated provisioning.

• Implement container orchestration using Kubernetes, AKS/EKS, OpenShift, or Docker.

3. Security & Compliance

• Integrate DevSecOps practices, including SAST, SCA, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and secure CI/CD configuration.

• Ensure compliance with internal governance and change management processes.

4. Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with developers, QA, SRE, and release teams to streamline release processes.

• Participate in troubleshooting production issues, incident management, and root‑cause analysis.

• Provide technical guidance on DevOps best practices and environment usage.

What you bring:

• 4–6 years of hands-on DevOps experience in enterprise-grade environments.

• Expertise with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Azure/AWS DevOps, Harness, etc.

• Exposure to config management tools (Java based maven build)

• Strong experience with CI/CD, Jenkins pipeline

• Scripting knowledge (Groovy And PowerShell) to automate tasks, activities, and using shared Jenkins libraries

• Strong experience in OpenShift deployment (OCP 4), Kubernetes, Docker, Helm Chart

• Version Control: Bit-Bucket, TFS (Team Foundation Server)

• JFrog Artifactory

• Strong experience in AWS or Azure cloud services (compute, networking, IAM, storage).

Additional skills, good to have

• Database: Basic knowledge of DB scripts

• Basic knowledge of Certificates (pfx, pem files, java related certs)

• Scanning Tools (Security): Basic understanding (say: CxOne)
