About the role:
As a Business Systems Analyst II, you will support an assigned portfolio of clients as their primary technical point of contact. You will analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, support release and change management activities, and help clients use FIS card and payment solutions efficiently and effectively.
What you will be doing:
Acting as the main technical contact for assigned clients
Analyzing business requirements and guiding clients toward standard, scalable solutions
Converting requirements into detailed technical specifications and securing sign‑off
Maintaining client system documentation and configurations
Supporting product demos and identifying opportunities to extend solution usage
Participating in release and change management activities
Executing project work for simple to medium‑complexity initiatives
Providing occasional first‑line Service Desk support, including severity assessment and SLA monitoring
What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience
Experience in business or systems analysis, programming, or issue analysis within financial services software environments
Working knowledge of SQL (data analysis, querying, issue investigation)
Understanding of APIs and system integrations (REST, message-based communication)
Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and application logs
Familiarity with release, change or incident management processes (e.g. ITIL-based environments)
Understanding of card business, transaction processing, and payment schemes
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Proactive mindset with the ability to identify gaps and clarify technical requirements
Very good English communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and in a team
