About the Role:
As a Software Engineer Lead, you will lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure software solutions that power critical financial services. You will guide technical direction, mentor engineers, and partner with product and business stakeholders to solve complex problems. Success in this role is measured by solution quality, delivery outcomes, and the growth of the engineering team.
What You Will Be Doing:
Lead end‑to‑end software design and development for complex, distributed systems
Translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions
Provide technical leadership through architecture decisions, code reviews, and standards
Mentor and develop engineers through coaching and hands‑on collaboration
Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, tools, and automation
Collaborate with product, quality, and operations teams to deliver reliable releases
Identify and resolve performance, reliability, and security issues at scale
Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and platform capabilities
Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise in modern software engineering principles and system design
Proficiency in one or more programming languages used in enterprise systems
Experience leading technical design and guiding other engineers
Strong skills in API design, data modeling, and distributed systems
Hands‑on experience with cloud‑based or containerized application environments
Ability to apply secure coding practices and manage technical risk
Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with financial services or highly regulated environments
Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation
Experience with event‑driven or microservices architectures
Familiarity with observability, performance tuning, and resiliency patterns
Experience influencing technical strategy across multiple teams
