The team is also responsible for the processing and distribution of Referential & Settlement market data received from exchanges to all FIS products (CMD ecosystem). These datasets are critical prerequisites for downstream back-office systems, ensuring accurate clearing, settlement, and reporting processes.

Role Overview

Managed Service Analyst II provides technical and production support for IBMi/AS400 environments and CMD/GDS and GMI applications, ensuring stable operations, timely issue resolution, and reliable client service delivery in a CX support model.

What You Will Do

  • Provide in-depth technical and product support for IBMi/AS400-based CMD/GDS and GMI systems.
  • Handle client queries via email, phone, and support channels with professionalism, accuracy, and adherence to SLAs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues such as batch failures, exchange delays, pricing discrepancies, and system errors.
  • Investigate AS400 job failures, CL programs, and message queues (MSGW), recommending and implementing corrective actions.
  • Monitor processing of Referential and Settlement market data from exchanges, ensuring accurate distribution to CMD and downstream FIS platforms.
  • Monitor daily production cycles, file processing, and system interactions to ensure operational stability.
  • Document client issues, RCA findings, recurring incidents, and support activities for audit and continuous improvement.
  • Reproduce and analyse production issues in controlled environments across IBMi and integrated platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, infrastructure, downstream systems) to resolve dependencies and enhance service quality.

What You Bring

  • Should have 1-4 years of experience in IT Support
  • Hands‑on experience in a production support environment, preferably on IBMi/AS400 , Linux.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in DB2/400; knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL is an advantage.
  • Sound understanding of AS400 operations (CL commands, job tracking, subsystems, spool files) and comfort with Unix/Linux commands.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve application, batch, or system‑level issues efficiently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate effectively in high‑pressure environments.

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts supporting global clients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience in banking, financial markets, or derivatives domain preferred
  • Ability to manage client expectations and deliver consistently within SLAs
  • Good to have: Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and Azure Cloud platforms (basic cloud operations, monitoring, and deployments)
