Experienced (relevant combo of work and education)As a Commercial Finance & Business Process Analyst, you will operate at the intersection of commercial governance, contract management, sales pipeline integrity, and process transformation. You will ensure contractual accuracy, financial rigor, and reliable data across the end‑to‑end sales lifecycle. The role focuses on strengthening commercial discipline while simplifying and scaling processes through analytics, automation, and modern tools.
You will be part of a cross‑functional commercial operations team that partners closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Professional Services. The team supports enterprise deal execution, pipeline accuracy, and commercial process excellence across the organization. As a Commercial Finance & Business Process Analyst, you will help drive alignment, consistency, and predictability in how commercial agreements and pipeline data are managed at FIS.
• Review and validate commercial agreements to ensure financial terms, obligations, and supporting documentation are complete and accurate
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and delivery teams to resolve contract and pricing gaps before deals progress
• Prepare and validate pricing structures, fee schedules, and financial assumptions for inclusion in agreements
• Audit sales pipeline data to ensure accuracy of contract values, recurring revenue, and forecast assumptions
• Track agreement status, dependencies, and actions to support timely monthly and quarterly close cycles
• Identify inefficiencies and design re‑engineered contract and pipeline processes to improve speed and scalability
• Leverage analytics and reporting tools to deliver insights that improve commercial decision‑making
• Act as a trusted advisor, enabling stakeholders on pipeline hygiene, contract standards, and governance practices
• Experience in commercial operations, revenue operations, finance, or contract governance in an enterprise environment
• Strong understanding of commercial contracts, pricing models, and financial terms across the sales lifecycle
• Advanced skills in Excel, including financial modeling, data validation, and complex analysis
• Experience using data and reporting tools such as Power BI and SharePoint
• Demonstrated ability to lead or support business process re‑engineering and operating model improvements
• Background in legal, compliance, or contract‑focused roles
• Experience in technology‑led or regulated industries
• Exposure to automation or AI‑enabled tools for analytics, document review, or process improvement
