About the role
As a Sales Executive, you’ll be part of a team of self-motivated, high-achieving sales professionals and you’ll drive some of the most exciting new technology in fintech while advancing the way the world pays, banks and invests
What you will be doing
- Drive new business and revenue growth by selling FIS Cards & Payments solutions to financial institutions within an assigned territory.
- Build, develop, and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects across issuing, acquiring, merchant payments, and digital channels.
- Initiates contact with prospective customers to sell targeted FIS products and/or services.
- Works as a member of a sales team to sell assigned products or services to identified key accounts.
- Demonstrates product knowledge including various solutions, markets and competitive intelligence.
- Prepares and presents proposals to clients utilizing FIS resources and tools.
- Negotiates, structures and closes “deals” that meet customer expectations and FIS’s ability to deliver; utilizes appropriate company resources per the resources plan to provide product marketing support or specialized product sales expertise.
- Assists in the development of sales plans and strategies.
- Meets sales goals and objectives.
- Other related duties assigned as needed.
What you bring
- Extensive experience in enterprise sales, including software, SaaS, or platform‑based solutions within financial services or payments.
- Strong background in cards and payments, including card issuing, acquiring, merchant services, or digital payment ecosystems.
- Proven sales experience in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region, with a solid understanding of local banks, regulators, and market dynamics.
- Working knowledge of payments technology landscapes, including processing platforms, schemes, APIs, and value‑added services.
- Demonstrated ability to manage long, complex sales cycles involving C‑level stakeholders and cross‑functional buying groups.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with confidence operating at executive level.
- Strong commercial judgment and problem‑solving capability, able to translate client challenges into structured solution outcomes.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to position ROI, efficiency, and growth benefits in payments transformation initiatives.
- Calm and resilient under pressure, maintaining professionalism during competitive and high‑stakes deal cycles.
- Strong relationship‑building skills across internal leadership, product teams, partners, clients, and regulators.
- Fluent, business‑level English; Arabic language capability is an advantage but not mandatory..
