What you will be doing
The Sales Solution Consultant is a product and market specialist, working within the European Trading and Asset Services Pre-Sales team. The role will involve working closely with the Sales team, Product Management, and clients in order to manage client requirements and expectations throughout the sales process, and drive business and sales growth.
You need to be highly motivated and have the ability to successfully work with all levels in an organization to successfully deliver the value proposition of the FIS Investor Services Suite via client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Sales team to generate and close pipeline and deliver on quarterly / annual quota. Providing in-depth subject matter expertise across the entire investor services lifecycle. The Investor Services Sales Solutions Consultant will perform the following tasks:
Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities, shape deal strategy, and drive conversion
Lead client discovery sessions to uncover business, operational, and regulatory challenges
Deliver compelling solution presentations, demos, and workshops tailored to client needs
Translate client requirements into end-to-end solution architectures
Develop value propositions tied to cost efficiency, scale, risk mitigation, and growth
Create commercial narratives aligned to target client segments (buy-side, asset servicers, transfer agents)
Articulate differentiation vs competitors across data, workflow automation, and servicing capabilities
Lead or contribute to RFP responses, proposals, and client-facing documentation
Support Sales in pipeline generation activities.
Work with the Sales and Marketing teams on defining 'Go to market' plans and executing Sales and Marketing campaigns
Provide feedback to Product on market needs, strategic roadmap and competitive positioning.
What you bring
3+ years of experience in investor service operations, asset servicing, and / or fund accounting
Deep domain expertise covering the entire end-to-end investor services lifecycle – transfer agency, fund accounting, client reporting
Strong understanding of fund platforms, distribution, servicing models, and operational workflows across front-to-back investor servicing
Ability translate complex technology into business value
Strong presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
Ideally proven experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or product-facing client roles
Strong executive presence with clear, concise communication style
Commercial mindset with focus on deal acceleration and revenue impact
Desire to help shape business strategy and growth
The flexibility to travel circa 20% predominantly in Europe
