About the Team
Our team supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects across financial services and technology. As a Project Coordinator, you will help keep project activities organized by tracking tasks, maintaining project documentation, coordinating meetings, following up on actions, and supporting clear communication between project teams and stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a collaborative environment.
What You Will Be Doing
- Support project managers and project teams with day-to-day coordination activities to help ensure projects remain organized and on track.
- Assist with maintaining project plans, schedules, trackers, action logs, risk and issue logs, and other project documentation.
- Coordinate project meetings by scheduling sessions, preparing agendas, capturing minutes, and following up on agreed actions.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and deadlines, escalating delays or blockers to the project manager when needed.
- Support communication across internal teams, stakeholders, and clients by helping prepare clear status updates, reports, and presentations.
- Help maintain accurate records in project management tools and ensure project information is up to date, complete, and easy to access.
- Assist with tracking project risks, issues, changes, and decisions, ensuring they are documented and routed to the appropriate owners.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support timely completion of tasks and smooth project delivery.
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying opportunities to simplify tracking, reporting, documentation, and team coordination.
- Support project administration activities as required, including document control, meeting logistics, reporting updates, and general coordination support.
What You Bring
- Educated to at least O Level/GCSE standard in Maths and English Language, or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meetings, follow-ups, and deadlines in a structured and reliable way.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with confidence preparing meeting notes, status updates, reports, and clear action items.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when maintaining project documentation, trackers, action logs, risk and issue logs, and other project records.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams; experience with project management or tracking tools is helpful.
- Able to work collaboratively with project managers, internal teams, stakeholders, and clients to support smooth project delivery.
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn, with an interest in project lifecycles, coordination practices, tools, and ways of working.
Added Bonus If You Have
- Familiarity with project management or collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Planner, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
- Exposure to Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, or other project delivery approaches.
- Experience supporting project reporting, dashboards, RAID logs, action trackers, or status packs.
- Basic understanding of financial services, banking, payments, technology delivery, or client implementation environments.
- Completed or in-progress training in project management, Agile fundamentals, Microsoft Office, Jira, or related coordination tools.
