Our B2C marketplace simplifies booking a scan, making it as straightforward for patients as booking a hotel. Our B2B platforms provide live scheduling at the point of care and harness AI to ease workflows for physicians, attorneys, and providers.
We're looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant at an exciting time - we've successfully launched multiple platforms and products, raised over $60m in VC funding, reached profitability, and have a growth trajectory of over 300% for 2024.
What You Will Be Getting Involved In
At Scan.com, we're on a mission to simplify and accelerate access to diagnostic imaging for patients and clinicians. As a Legal Administrative Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in achieving this goal by supporting our patients, attorneys, and case managers. We're seeking a resourceful, proactive, and entrepreneurial individual who shares our passion for revolutionizing the diagnostic imaging industry.
This is an in-office position, Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm. After completing training, there will be some hybrid flexibility in the role (1-2 days/week).

- Maintaining various files, logs, and medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness of information
- Interacting with attorneys and case managers via call and email regarding patient records and payment status
- Preparation and sending of invoices
- Updating our internal database to reflect case updates

- You have previous experience in data entry, and are comfortable working with large sets of data in Excel
- You pay strong attention to detail and are hyper-organized
- You're a self starter and are highly self motivated
- Previous experience working in electronic health/medical record systems is a huge plus
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of HIPAA and other medical insurance regulations and terminology is preferred
We try to keep our interview process short and as a small business we can move through the stages quickly. Due to availability there may be a change to the order of the interview process, but generally speaking this is what you can expect:
- Introductory call/interview with Sam, our Talent Lead. The call is usually via telephone and will last around 30 minutes
- Should it feel like there is an initial fit for all, we will invite to our office for an in-person interview
