We’re Scan.com, the digital health startup giving patients and clinicians simpler, faster access to diagnostic imaging.

At the heart of Scan.com lies a different way of doing things: empowering patients to make financially smart decisions, enabling live scheduling for patients and providers and easing clinician workloads through AI. It’s our mission to make medical scans accessible to all.

You’ll be joining us at an exciting time - we’ve recently launched our physician marketplace product in the USA to great success, have raised $15m in Series A VC funding, and are on track to grow over 500% in 2023.

What You Will Be Getting Involved In

Reporting to the Head of Provider Management, this role will be responsible for supporting the ongoing account management of our network of imaging suppliers. It involves identifying and onboarding new imaging suppliers to expand our national coverage. Additionally, the role will work closely with internal stakeholders from multiple departments to improve existing processes and introduce new products to the market.

As an early-stage business, you can expect your role to develop over time. However, some of the types of things you could be getting involved in are:

  • Supporting the Head of Provider Management in expanding the network’s breadth, depth, and quality
  • Manage existing imaging suppliers by conducting review meetings, implementing account development initiatives, and producing management information (MI) for key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • To grow the network, the focus will be on identifying and generating leads, negotiating with imaging suppliers, and onboarding them
  • Taking ownership of the end-to-end onboarding process for new imaging suppliers
  • Be responsible for owning and updating our supplier knowledge base, which involves storing up-to-date and accurate information for all of our imaging suppliers
  • Ownership of the website administration portal to ensure imaging supplier information and pricing are accurately displayed on the Scan.com website
  • Support the Head of Provider Management by conducting pricing analysis to ensure that we offer the most competitive pricing available to our patients
  • Working closely with the Head of Growth, analyse data and trends to identify areas of demand
  • Working collaboratively with our operations team to implement and develop pathways and processes to enhance the patient journey
  • Working collaboratively with our product team to create new services in partnership with our imaging suppliers to enhance Scan.com's offering

THE TOP 5 THINGS WE WANT YOU TO ACHIEVE IN YOUR FIRST YEAR ARE

  • Established strong relationships with key external stakeholders within your portfolio of imaging suppliers
  • Successfully onboarded new suppliers to the Scan.com network
  • Become a trusted member of the broader business through collaborative work across ops, finance and growth
  • Bring innovative ideas and deliver positive change to internal processes
  • Positively represented Scan.com externally through site visits & networking events

WHAT YOU MIGHT BRING TO THE TABLE:

You don't need to tick all the boxes to apply for this role. Whether it's your first role or your fifth role, we believe everyone can add value and that everyone should want to learn. However, these might be some of the ways you are currently adding value:

  • Proven experience (3+ years is desirable) in an account management and/or sales role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Confident cold caller. This role may require dropping into potential clients unannounced. You should feel confident in that element of the role
  • Previous experience in healthcare is desirable but not essential
  • Previous experience or a desire to work within an early-stage business where priorities change and things move fast!

HOW WE WILL INTERVIEW YOU:

We try to keep our interview process short, and as a small business, we can move through the stages quickly. Due to availability, there may be a change to the order of the interview process, but generally speaking, this is what you can expect:

  • Introductory call/interview with Rhea, our People and Talent Lead. The call is usually via telephone (video if based in the US) and will last around 30 minutes
  • Should it feel like there is an initial fit for all, we will invite you to a video call with the hiring manager for around 45 minutes. This is a more structured interview and will deep dive into the role and technical needs
  • All of our roles will have a small assessment stage. This might be in person, a take-home assessment or further video calls. Length varies, however, we are mindful that you will have your own work to do and, therefore, try to keep it as simple as possible
  • Meet the founders and/or other team members. Again, length varies depending on how many people and whether in person or via video call
  • Offer!

BENEFITS:

We divide this into the basics you should expect and the added benefits.

The basics:

  • Salary range of £40,000-£50,000
  • Statutory pension
  • All the equipment needed for you to do your role effectively
  • Flexible working
  • Hybrid working
  • Personal Development budgets
  • 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays

The benefits:

  • Equity
  • Wellness budget to spend via a partner platform
